What a tab snoozer does
It closes a tab now and reopens it later, at a time you pick. That is the whole idea. It exists because people keep tabs open as a to-do list, then end up with forty of them and no idea which still matter.

Best at: Natural-language input — type "every monday 9am" instead of picking dates.
Weakest at: Smallest user base here, and no cross-device sync yet.
Tab Snooze (MV3)
Best at: The most-installed and best-rated option. Open source, actively maintained.
Weakest at: Preset buttons and a date picker; no natural-language entry.
Snooze Tabby
Best at: Recurring snoozes and multi-tab snoozing, all free.
Weakest at: No natural-language parsing.
Snooze Tabs
Best at: Cloud sync and backup across devices — the only one here that has it.
Weakest at: Free tier is capped at 10 active snoozes, and it is the lowest-rated option listed.
Which should you pick?
- Want the safest, most popular choice? Tab Snooze (MV3). Most installs, highest rating, free and open source. We would rather you had a working snoozer than none.
- Need it synced across machines? Snooze Tabs is the only one here that does that, at $19 one-time. AnySnooze does not sync yet.
- Hate date pickers? That is the case for AnySnooze. You type “in 2 hours” or “every monday 9am” and it understands. Nothing else in this list parses language.
- Just want recurring for free? AnySnooze or Snooze Tabby. Both include it.
Using one as a Pocket replacement
Pocket shut down in 2025 and a lot of people are still looking for somewhere to put things they mean to read. A tab snoozer handles the part of Pocket most people actually used — save it, deal with it later — with one difference that matters: the page comes back to you at a time you chose, instead of joining a list you have to remember to open. That is the failure mode read-later apps have always had.
